It’s an independent attitude. A relaxed way of life. It’s your next adventure in its truest form. Double E Ranch vacation cabins are one of the best kept secrets in the southwest. And, they are waiting for you!

Double E Ranch Vacation Cabin Rentals was inspired by our desire to share the cowboy way, the western lifestyle, and the magic of southwestern New Mexico.

Piñon Log Cabin -- a cozy, comfortable 430 SF hide-a-way, the perfect spot to kick off your shoes, put your feet up and breath!

Amenities include: efficiency kitchen with custom designed Italian stone counters, 4-burner stove top, microwave, two apartment sized refrigerators, coffee maker, toaster, dining bar and stools, luxury queen sized bed with hotel quality Egyptian cotton linens, antique cedar armoire,comfortable sectional sofa, chest of drawers, TV/DVD and library with over 400 titles and full bathroom with shower and bath tub. Radiant, in floor heating for toasty comfort on cold winter nights and air conditioning during warmer months.

The Piñon Cabin has a land-line telephone for local calls only. Calling card is required for long distance calling. You have Wi-Fi and internet access, download from Netflix or other movies providers. There is no cell service at your cabin.

Flat screen TV, extensive DVD library, information on some of our best local attractions, restaurants and area activities are included in your cabin. Covered deck with rocking chairs for enjoying the view.

Guests are responsible for bringing all food and beverage items. We provide gourmet spices, condiments, BBQ grill, charcoal and lighter fluid.

Agave Guest House is a southwestern territorial style, comfortable 730 SF fully furnished large 1 bedroom cabin with covered deck.

The oversized living room has a leather sofa and loveseat, hand made maple end and coffee tables, custom repurposed "farm implement" lamp table. Your bedroom has a queen bed with luxury quality Egyptian cotton linens, a vintage farm house armoire, a dresser with large mirror from the 1930's, an antique desk, full bathroom with shower and tub and is comfortably equipped with radiant in-floor heat. The kitchen has new appliances including dishwasher, full sized refrigerator, gas range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and BBQ grill. Dining area with seating for 4. Air conditioning throughout for warmer months.

The Agave House also includes TV, DVD player, extensive DVD library, land line telephone, Wi-F/internet. Please be aware you will not have cell service at your cabin. Internet is available for text, email, downloading movies, etc. Long distance calls must be made using a calling card. Information on some of our best local attractions, restaurants and activities are included in your cabin Informational Booklet. The cabin offers a comfortable covered deck with rocking chairs, aged ranch lanterns and other well used ranch implements.

This charming 560 SF Hideout Cabin is a one bedroom with fully furnished kitchen, full sized appliances, including dishwasher, antique cabinet and custom designed shelves, gas oven/range. Luxury queen bed with a barn door head board, Egyptian cotton linens, dining for 4, antique dresser, Italian leather love seat, vintage rocker. BBQ grill, charcoal and lighter fluid provided for outdoor cooking.

The Hideout Cabin also includes TV, DVD player, extensive DVD library, land line telephone, Wi-F/interneti. Covered front deck, rockers, privacy. Please be aware you will not have cell service at your cabin. Internet is available for text, email, downloading movies, etc. Long distance calls must be made using a calling card. Information on some of our best local attractions, restaurants and activities are included in your cabin.

The cabin offers a comfortable covered deck with rocking chairs, aged ranch lanterns and other well used ranch implements.

Built in the very early 1900's and used as the ranch headquarters "home place", The Old Ranch House has been completely refurbished, upgraded and (just slightly) remodeled, while continuing to reflect the charm and charachter of early ranch living in New Mexico. Including the 16'x24' screened Veranda Porch, you'll have nearly 1400 sf of living space to call 'home'.

High ceilings and refinished pine floors throughout. The living room/dining/bedrooms enhance your sense of natural light-filled spaces, with turn a "turn of the century" atmosphere. Serve up your meals seated at your vintage oak dining table with seating for four .

An intimate living room area includes comfortable wagon wheel sofa, rocking chair and a 1940's era sideboard buffet. Also a large flat screened HD TV, dvd player and large dvd library. Wi-Fi internet and land line telephone are provided. This cabin offers VOIP long distance calling.

     
Ranch Headquarters Master Bedroom  

The large master bedroom has a beautiful custom designed head board, gas fireplace, queen sized bed, 1930's oak armoire imported from England, vintage hand painted porcelian table lamps, antique mirrors and an antique oak treadle sewing machines with delicate wood carved trim serve as night table.

Separated from the living/dining room by double French doors, bedroom number two is a bit smaller with queen bed, antique dresser and mirror, bedside table, closet and private bathroom with shower.

The cast iron, claw foot bath tub, a beautifully hand crafted stained glass window, pedestal sink and Italian stone floor are the center of focus. You can enjoy an oversized stall shower with a "rain water" shower head. Lots of natural light reflecting off the Italian stone flooring fills the room with soothing shades of creamy beige and soft peach. A vintage Hoosier cabinet with etched glass doors offers loads of space for toiletries, thick towels and more.

     
Ranch HQ Veranda  

Vintage cabinetry, custom designed and built with old ranch barn wood, shelving, large refrigerator/freezer, self-cleaning gas range, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker make it easy for you to feel right at home. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage sitting on the full sized veranda. Perfect!

The Rio Lobo Guest House was the original bunkhouse for cowboys who worked the Hooker Ranch, purchased 22 years ago by Debbie and Alan Eggleston, renaming it Double E Ranch. At nearly 5,000 feet elevation, this lovingly remodeled, cozy, 1-bedroom cabin offers all the comforts of home right here in the heart of magnificent and pristine vistas adjoining the southwestern New Mexico Gila National Forest High Desert region.

With refinished hardwood floors throughout, the Rio Lobo offers lots of living space and extreme comfort, so it really lends itself to an extended vacation. The kitchen features full-sized appliances, including a dishwasher, and an adjacent dining area, so you can cook-in as much as you’d like, saving you the hassle and expense of dining out. The completely remodeled bathroom comes complete with bathtub and washing machine and dryer. Pack as light as you want – you won’t run out of clean clothes!

The Rio Lobo bedroom is furnished with handcrafted, maple dresser and headboard. Whether you’ve spent the day hiking, birding, reading, or riding, you’ll find sleep comes easily as you are lulled by the quiet sounds of the high desert nights, snuggled in luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets on your queen sized bed.
